Tame the Tongue
Goal: To show the power of the tongue for both good and evil.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Not! The spoken word is a very powerful, and potentially destructive thing. It can be used to exalt others, motivating them to achieve. Or, it can be used to hurt others, destroying their inner confidence and paralyzing a person to the point of inactivity. So, it is vital that we teach our children the power of the tongue, for good and bad.
